The current status of this species is unclear. The only record we have is an old larval record from 1996.
Wingspan : M & F, 68-96mm.
Wet & damp places - most areas that are low lying and prone to flooding.
Heart-wood of various broadleaf trees.
Eggs laid in batches in bark crevices often near old larval burrows. Larva overwinter up to 4 years before pupates in spring.
