Montgomeryshire Status

Only recorded at one site in the west of the county, probably an overlooked species.

Wingspan :  M & F, 30-46mm.

Habitat

Rough grassland.

Foodplant

Meadow vetchling, red and white clover, common and greater bird's-foot trefoil, and bitter vetch.

Lifestage data

Overwinters as a larva. Larva July-June. Pupates in a cocoon high on the grass stems.
