UK Status Resident. Local N,W. Montgomeryshire Status This species is found on higher ground and as a consequence is probably under-recorded . Most recent records have been from Lake Vyrnwy. Wingspan : M & F, 20-29mm. Confusion species Lesser Cream Wave and Cream Wave. |

time (Montgomeryshire)  Habitat Heathland and moorland. Foodplant Heather and bilberry. Lifestage data Overwinters as a larva. Larva August-late May. Pupates in debris close to the ground or just beneath the surface. |
