Flight
time (Montgomeryshire)  Habitat Mainly on chalk downland, also found on open waste ground. Foodplant The ripening seeds of red bartsia and occasionally eyebright. Lifestage data Overwinters as a pupa underground, sometimes up to five years. Larva August-October living inside the seed capsules until too large, then living on the plant. |
