A rare species that has been recorded only twice,
both are old records coming from the south-east of the county. Probably
now extinct.
Wingspan : M & F, 21-24mm.

The ripening seed capsules of bladder campion and sea campion.
Lifestage data
Overwinters as a pupa in a loose soil, sometimes over a second winter. Larva mid June-late July. |
