UK Status Resident. Local S,(C). Montgomeryshire Status Resident. A scarce and local species that has only been recorded at seven sites, all in the east of the county. Wingspan : M & F, 25-30mm. Confusion species None. |
Flight
time (Montgomeryshire)  Habitat Broadleaf woodland, hedgerows, parks and gardens. Foodplant Spindle. Lifestage data Overwinters as a pupa. Larva June-July and August-September. It can be seen at night hanging from a silk thread on the foodplant. |
