time (Montgomeryshire)  Habitat Mostly open habitats including open woodland, downland, heathland, moorland, and hedgerows. Foodplant Low growing herbaceous plants, scrubby birches and sallow. Lifestage data Overwinters as a small larva near the soil. Larva October-May, feeding at night. Pupates underground in a fragile cocoon. |
