Resident. A 'Nationally Scarce A' species. This species has
been recorded in a few scattered sites in the west of the county. The
last record came from Lake Vyrnwy in 2010.
Wingspan : M & F, 35-40mm.

Rocky and craggy sites, mountain sides and quarries.

Many herbaceous plants.
Lifestage data
Overwinters as a small larva. Larva August-June, feeding
mainly at night. Pupates in a slight cocoon under the moss, rocks or
just below the soil. |
