Habitat

Broadleaf woodland and carr.

Foodplant

A range of herbaceous and woody plants including, dock, honeysuckle, bramble, primrose and bilberry.

Lifestage data

Overwinters as a larva. Larva August-May, feeding at night. Pupates underground.
