Flight
time (Montgomeryshire)  Habitat Broadleaf woodland, scrub, hedgerows and gardens. Foodplant The immature flowers and leaves of pedunculate oak, also probably other oak species. Lifestage data Overwinters as an egg which are laid on the twigs or bark of the foodplant. Larva April-June. Pupates in a strong underground cocoon. |
