Habitat

Broadleaf woodland, scrub and gardens.

Foodplant

Omnivorous. Firstly feeding on many broadleaf trees & shrubs. When larger, preys on other moth larva.

Lifestage data

Overwintering adults active in milder periods. Larva (April-June) feed at night. Pupates in underground cocoon.
