Flight
time (Montgomeryshire)  Habitat Broadleaf woodland, carr, marshes, scrub, and gardens. Foodplant The catkins of sallows and poplars and later on herbaceous plants. Lifestage data Overwinters as eggs laid in rows on twigs of the foodplant. Larva late March-early June, which feed inside the catkins until they fall. Pupates underground. |
