Status
A rare and local species, recorded on four occasions prior to 1975
and then not again until 2010 when one was trapped at Middletown (see
pic below).

Habitat
Mostly in elm woods or other places where elm is still found.
Foodplant
English elm, small-leaved elm and wych elm.
Lifestage data
Overwinters as an egg. Larva late April-mid June. Pupates in a cocoon
amongst old leaves. |
