A rare and local species, with just two recorded in the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 29-34mm.
Woodland, hedgerows, scrub, parks and occasionally gardens.
Blackthorn, hawthorn, apple, bullace and elms.
Overwinters as an egg. Larva April-mid June. Pupates in a cocoon amongst the plant litter.
