A fairly common but local species, recorded from several scattered sites, mainly in the north of the county.

A range of wet and boggy places.

Foodplant

Grasses.

Lifestage data

Overwinters as a fully grown larva amongst the leaf litter. Larva July-April. Pupates in the leaf litter or a dead plant stem.
