Flight
time (Montgomeryshire)  Habitat Broadleaf woodland, hedgerows, scrub and gardens. Foodplant Withered and healthy leaves of pedunculate oak, downy birch, hazel, bird cherry and hawthorn, also recorded on bramble and traveller's-joy. Lifestage data Overwinters as a pupa in the debris or in a crevice in the bark. Larva July-October. |
