Habitat

Mainly a woodland species.

Foodplant

Dead leaves.

Lifestage data

Case-bearing. Eggs probably laid on the stems of herbaceous plants. Larva forms a portable case from which it will feed from soil particles or dead leaves. Pupa formed inside the case.
