First recorded at Commins Coch in 2010. Uncommon in north Wales.

Habitat

Damp woodland and fens.

Foodplant

Mainly water pepper.

Lifestage data

Leaf miner. Eggs laid on underside of leaf. Larva first mines a gallery which turns into a squarish blotch, it later rolls the leaf and feeds within. Pupates in a fragile cocoon in the last rolled leaf.
