UK Status Resident. Widespread, but local and rarely common throughout the British Isles. Montgomeryshire Status This species has been found in the north-west corner of the county but hasn't been seen since 1987 at Lake Vyrnwy. Wingspan : M & F, 9-10mm. Confusion species Many species of Phyllonorycter are extremely similar, great care should be given when separating these species. It is often impossible to separate the adults of some species. |

(Bivoltine)  Habitat Wherever the foodplant is found. Foodplant Honeysuckle and snow-berry Lifestage data Leaf miner. Eggs laid on underside of leaf. Larva forms a very large mine occupying the whole leaf. Pupates in a dull green cocoon within the mine. |
