Wingspan :   M & F, 8mm.

Confusion species

Many species of Phyllonorycter are extremely similar, great care should be given when separating these species. It is often impossible to separate the adults of some species.

Wherever the foodplant is found.

Foodplant

Mainly horse chestnut spp.

Lifestage data

Leaf miner. Eggs laid on leaves. Larva mines a blotch and feeds within. Pupates inside the blotch.
