(Univoltine)  Habitat Wherever the foodplant is found. Foodplant Birch and alder. Lifestage data Shoot miner. Eggs laid on the foodplant. Larva feed in the stem or a catkin where it also overwinters. Pupates in a cocoon under bark after leaving its overwintering site. |
