Discovered in the west of the county at Morben ISAF in 2011.

Wingspan :   M & F, 10-13mm.

Confusion species

Care should be taken as other species of Argyresthia can look very similar.

Wherever the foodplant is found.

Foodplant

Sallow or willow.

Lifestage data

Shoot miner. Eggs laid on the foodplant. Larva mines a young shoot, causing it to droop. Pupates in feeding place or on the ground.
