Montgomeryshire Status

First recorded in 2017 at Commins Coch in the far west of the county. This is the first record for North Wales.

Wingspan :   M & F 11-13mm.

Pine woodland and scrub heathland.

Pine.

Lifestage data

Web forming. Eggs laid base of needle. Larva feeds on the needles in a slight web. Pupates in a dense white cocoon on ground.
