Resident. Widely distributed and locally common as far north as
Gloucestershire and Yorkshire. Also recorded in northern Scotland and
north Wales.
Montgomeryshire Status
A single record from the west of the county at Commins Coch in 2008.

Lifestage data
Leaf miner. Eggs laid on upperside of leaf. Larva first mines, usually
near the tip of a leaf, then feeds externally. Pupates in a white
silken cocoon in a tuned down leaf edge. |
