Resident. Widespread but local, in Britain as far
north as the Scottish borders.

Found to be fairly common in the north of the county around the
Llanfyllin area.

Field maple and sycamore.
Lifestage data
Spinning. Eggs laid on a twig of the foodplant. Larva feeds from a
slight spinning. Pupates in a soft white cocoon in moss on the trunk,
under the bark or in the leaf litter. |
