Resident. Widespread and fairly common in England as far north as the Midlands and uncommon in Wales.
Montgomeryshire Status
Locally fairly common. Recorded from a single site in the west of the county, Commins Coch. Probably under-recorded.

Lifestage data
Spinning/leaf miner. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva, first generation
feeds within spun leaflets, second generation mines the stem. Pupates
on the ground in an open network cocoon. |
