Recorded from a single site in the north of the county, Lake Vyrnwy 2007.

Wingspan :   M & F, 10-13.5mm.

Habitat

Bogs, fens and wet areas.

Foodplant

Willow, sallow, and bog myrtle.

Lifestage data

Case-bearing/leaf miner. Eggs laid on leaf. Larva makes a mine and forms a case which is enlarged as the larva grows. Pupates within case, attached to a twig or the upper surface of a leaf.
