This species was first recorded in 2008 at Berwyns in the north of the county.

Wingspan :   M & F 6-8mm.

Confusion species

Care should be taken, other species of Coleophora can look similar, although this is fairly recognisable due to small size.

Lifestage data

Leaf miner. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva forms blotch mines, lives in portable cases. Pupates in case attached to leaf.
