Wingspan : M & F, 15-20mm. Confusion species Care should be taken as other species of Coleophora can look very similar. |

(Univoltine)  Habitat Rough grassland and waste ground. Foodplant Ribbed or tall melilot. Lifestage data Case-bearing/seed miner. Eggs laid on flower. Larva first mines seeds in seedpod, the empty seedpod is then used as a case, from which other seedpods are mined. Pupates within case, attached to debris on ground. |
