Recorded from two widely separated sites.

Wingspan :   M & F, 10.5-12mm.

Confusion species

It is often impossible to separate the adults of some species. In some cases differences can be seen in various life stages.

Habitat

Grassland and roadside verges.

Foodplant

White clover.

Lifestage data

Case-bearing/seed miner. Eggs laid on flower. Larva feeds on the ripening seeds, then spins a case from white silk. Pupates within case, attached to the ground.
