time & Voltinity
(Univoltine)  Habitat Wet, boggy and marshy places. Foodplant Fool's water-cress and fine-leaved water-dropwort. Lifestage data Eggs, oviposition site undescribed. Larva starts life feeding in an umbel, then feeds internally in stems, even below the water level. Pupates in a loose silken cocoon in a lower stem. |
