Resident. Widespread but local throughout Britain, as far north as Renfrewshire.

Two confirmed records taken from the east of the county at Montgomery Castle in 2003 and Llanfyllin in 2010.

Lifestage data
Leaf miner/spinning. Eggs laid on a leaf. Larva first mines a leaf from
the underside, it later feeds in a web under the leaf, making whitish
blotches from above. Pupates in detritus or the soil. |
