far north as Inverness-shire.

Probably more common than the records suggest.

Lifestage data
Seed miner. Eggs laid on the foodplant. Larva burrows amongst seeds and
below the seeds and feeds within. Pupates in a light-brown silken
cocoon at the base of the seed capsule. |
