Found once at Commins Coch in the west of the county in 2009.

Wingspan :   M & F,11-12mm.

Confusion species

Teleiodes wagae.

Habitat

Two distinct races known, one feeding in oak habitat, the other on habitats with bog myrtle.

Foodplant

Oak and bog myrtle.

Lifestage data

Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva lives between flatly spun leaves, leaving large green blotches in leaf. Pupates in a fragile cocoon in detritus.
