Resident. Widespread and very common throughout the
British Isles especially in sandy places.

Recorded from four sites in the county, but will probably be more widespread.

Mosses and common bent.
Lifestage data
Spinning. Eggs, oviposition site undescribed. Larva forms a white
silken tube attached to the moss on which it feeds. Pupates in a cocoon
in the larval feeding place. |
