UK Status Resident. Widespread in Britain except for southern Scotland where it seems to be absent. Montgomeryshire Status First recorded in 2011 in the west of the county at Cors Dyfi Nature Reserve. Wingspan : M & F, 14-19mm. Confusion species Anacampsis blattariella. |

(Univoltine.)  Habitat Wherever the foodplant is found. Foodplant Poplar, aspen & willows. Lifestage data Leaf roller. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva forms a rolled leaf in which it lives and feeds. Pupates in the rolled leaf, pupa pale brown. |
