Recorded from a single site in the west of the county at Cors Dyfi Nature Reserve in 2009 (near Machynlleth).

Wingspan :   M & F, 14-18mm.

Habitat

Ungrazed grassland, woodland rides and coastal areas.

Foodplant

Grasses.

Lifestage data

Spinning. Eggs laid on the leaf. Larva spins a grass blade into a roll to form a spiral and feeds within, it repeats this process several times. Pupates inside a leaf roll not used for feeding.
