Habitat

Scrubby downland and hedgerows.

Foodplant

Various trees and shrubs.

Lifestage data

Spinning. Eggs laid on branches or bark. Larva first feeds on the buds and later spins leaves and flowerheads together and feeds within. Pupates between spun leaves or in larval habitation.
