(Univoltine)  Habitat Rough grassland. Foodplant Knapweed and saw-wort. Lifestage data Flower/seed feeder. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva lives in flowerheads and seedheads feeding on the developing seeds and pith. Pupates in a silken cocoon amongst the leaf litter. |
