Resident. Widespread throughout Britain as far north as Inverness-shire, more common and can be abundant in the south.

Recorded from two sites in the west of the county at Commins Coch and Staylittle.

Lifestage data
Bud miner/spinning. Eggs laid on upper surface of leaf. Larva first
feeds in fruit and leaf buds, then spins several leaves together and
feeds within. Pupates in larval habitation. |
