Resident. Locally common in the southern half of England and rather more uncommon in Wales.

Recorded once from a single site in the east of the county at Welshpool in 2000.

Lifestage data
Spinning/fruit feeder. Eggs laid singly on berries. Larva lightly spins
two or three berries together and feeds inside the fruit. Pupates in a
silken cocoon under bark or amongst leaf litter. |
