Wingspan :   M & F, 13-15mm.

D. flavidorsana.

Habitat

Hillsides, meadows and gardens.

Foodplant

Oxeye daisy.

Lifestage data

Root feeder. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva lives and feeds in the roots. Pupates in a cocoon attached to the roots constructed of root material and soil.
