Recorded from a single site in the west of the county at Commins Coch.

Wingspan :   M & F, 10-15mm.

Habitat

Dry grassy places.

Foodplant

Oxeye daisy and tansy.

Lifestage data

Root feeder. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva lives and feeds in the roots and rootstock. Pupates in a cocoon attached to the roots constructed of root material and soil.
