Recorded from the northern half of the county.

Wingspan :   M & F, 23-31mm.

Habitat

Haystacks, squirrels drays, and thatch.

Foodplant

Dried vegetable matter.

Lifestage data

Eggs laid on food source. Larva feeds openly on dried vegetable matter, several larvae of different sizes may often be found feeding together. Pupates in a firm silken cocoon.
