Recorded from several sites, mainly in the east of the county.

Wingspan :   M & F, 18-23mm.

Wherever foodplant is found.

Foodplant

Ash.

Lifestage data

Bark miner. Eggs laid on bark. Larva feed under the bark forming galleries infesting certain trees which are eventually killed, the colony then move to a neighbouring tree. Pupates in a white silken cocoon under the bark.
