Resident. A widespread and fairly common species found in the southern half of Britain.
This species was first recorded in 2013 at Derwenlas in the far west of the county.
Wingspan : M & F 18-22mm.
time & Voltinity
Downland, beaches and sand dunes.
Common rest-harrow and spiny rest-harrow.
Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva lives and feeds within folded shoots. Pupates attached to a leaf by a silken girdle.
