Programme 2011
All ages are welcome, beginners or experts. All events are free unless listed otherwise below.

These are mainly evening events. We set up a light at dusk to attract moths and then release them after identifying them. You are welcome to join us for as much of the evening as suits you – we are likely to stay for a few hours. However, in case of cancellation, in poor weather or unforeseen circumstances:- PLEASE ALWAYS RING OR EMAIL TO CHECK THE EVENT IS ON BEFORE JOINING US.

Some sites are not easy to find so, please make sure that you know where the venue is before you set off!
Please bring a torch and wear suitable outdoor clothing.

This year we're once again targeting two rare species in the county: the Rosy Marsh Moth (a Red Data Book endangered species only found in a few sites in the west of Wales and Cumbria) and the Pretty Chalk Carpet (only a few records exist in the county database).
